The first two drawings were from last night. They were not vent art but they were personal. Recently I've been reminiscing on my past self, it began happen shortly when I tried to better myself. My mind becomes blank but because of that, my previous memories become more clearer. This OC went by my name, eventually giving him the name Gek. A reptile humanoid that acted as my personal for a long time. The last two are different versions of him. I see this character and I'm reminded of anger. The first iss a representation of who I see in my memories, what I look like to myself. Remembering all the wrong I did and how I convinced others I was right. I was so certain I was always right until now, I see I was wrong on many things and struggled. My problems I stayed quite about, I had pressure from many things and I thought I could handle it all. Only to end up failing miserably, but I couldn't accept my mistakes. My stubbornness to fix everything and saying it was all fine was simply excuses to amke myself believe I wasn't doing anything wrong. When I was making my change, I said I would simply move on and forget. But as I see things more clearly, I can only say that... Forgetting is not the right way to do things. No, it is not. I have to accept this is who I was and that is what I did. All I can do is try to make wrongs right. But I need to be mature to know I may never be able to fix certain things... And it sucks. But I have to come to terms not everyone may forgive me or may accept me. And that's fine, I've also matured that I can't be dwelling on those people. I have things to take care of and most importantly, I have myself to take care of. For those who go through the same thing, realising your mistakes. Admitting. Doing the right thing. And moving on is what you must consider. But it all requires CHANGE. Just when I think i am struggling and all alone in this struggle, there is God who slams the door open saying I’m here, I never left your side, even if you lock me out I’m just gonna be here waiting for you to run back into my arms. Everytime I struggle with something the first thing I do is lock God out and isolate myself thinking that’s the right thing to do. But, when the struggle gets hard and I realise that I’m failing while trying to fight on my own strength, God meets me right where I am. I just stand there and He comes, no matter what the time or the situation, God comes. And it’s so obvious that He knows exactly what I’m going through and no matter how many times I sin or how many times I shut Him out, He comes and He waits for me to call out to Him. No matter what you do or where you go, God knows exactly who you are and what you’re going through. There’s just one thing we need to remember, If God brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it. . God never gave up on you, don’t give up on yourself, doesn’t matter where you are and what you’re doing, just give God a chance.
