I'm wearing Moth and Cemetary Moss today and love them so much. Fruit-choulis are iffy for me, but Moth is so unique and well done. It's dark, sticky, chewy patchouli, richly earthy, and the fruity notes smell like unripe tropical fruit to me, so not sickly sweet and with a green, lightly sweet character. It smells like an idealized version of climbing fruit trees in a jungle.

Cemetary Moss is a gem and smells green and creamy with no sharp or sour tones. It reminds me of laying in a grassy meadow with the scent of sweet grass and warm soil. The vintage amber and myrrh give it a warm, sweetly resinous edge, like laying in a sunbeam. It's hard to find green grass and moss scents that don't turn sour, so I'm glad to have found this. Smells very natural. 💚

Review/rant... Decided to pull out one designer sample for a quick in and out of the house. The regret came almost immediately... 40 minutes in and I already have all my thoughts on this. SOTD: Acqua de Gio Absolu by @armanibeauty ... Opens with a very cheap smelling, cleaning products like citrus blend. Very shortly base jumps in and gives you a full idea of what they were going for. Gio meets sauvage plus Tonka. Drydown you’re left with no citrus, just an obnoxious amount of Norlimbanol (sharp astringent “musk”), ambroxan and a very synthetic smelling Tonka bean. It doesn’t get more uninspiring than this. Fragrances like this are the reason why I try to stay clear from mainstream designers... despite the butchering reformulations the original still a classic within mens fragrances (event though I don’t care for it); releasing a flanker like this is just a plain disregard for what the original meant for the fragrance world... Absolu terrible... ... My Fragrance Journey!!!

Beautiful Black Baccara perfume oils! These oils always impress me so much, everything from the unique, long lasting scents to the thoughtful packaging. - I've already reviewed Black Cat (one of my favorite clove oils) and Hummingbirds (sweet, creamy, airy white florals and a juicy nectar, with a lovely, vanillic tone all around). - I'm wearing Moth and Cemetary Moss today and love them so much. Fruit-choulis are iffy for me, but Moth is so unique and well done. It's dark, sticky, chewy patchouli, richly earthy, and the fruity notes smell like unripe tropical fruit to me, so not sickly sweet and with a green, lightly sweet character. It smells like an idealized version of climbing fruit trees in a jungle. - Cemetary Moss is a gem and smells green and creamy with no sharp or sour tones. It reminds me of laying in a grassy meadow with the scent of sweet grass and warm soil. The vintage amber and myrrh give it a warm, sweetly resinous edge, like laying in a sunbeam. It's hard to find green grass and moss scents that don't turn sour, so I'm glad to have found this.
