💥Make your actions speak louder than your words!💥BOOM💥 ⠀⠀ When was the last time you listened to your heart? When was the last time you truly trusted your gut instinct? When was the last time you lived out loud, quietly? ⠀⠀ Words have power, yes. Reminiscing past 1 year of Zaviyar 💙 He is already 19 mo !!! Where did the time go?🤷 We all, as mommies, love our kids! And how can we not? We love holding and kissing them all the time and wish they would be as little and as cute forever! While I am wallowing in Z's beautiful childhood past one year today I remember every bit of Z, who'd always be adored by strangers for his chubby cheeks, big bright eyes and coolest smile 😎 wherever we would go people would stop by his stroller to cheer him and chat. It was always a heart warming experience for us as parents 😊 Today marks 1 year to this picture and my baby is no longer that cuddly bear that he used to be and that makes me sad too, at times but since the baby has to grow anyway achieving various milestones, I am elated to see him uttering gibbrish all the time, making savoury choices in food, walking with those little feets, his tad bit heightened appearance , truly amused to see his newly popped out teeth and offcourse my heart skips a beat when he calls me mamma!! Ma shaa Allah ❤ I am sure the entire development of a child from being a crawling infant to becoming a full blown toddler is super fascinating ( read: Super Tiring 😃) for every mother ! ‘It’s good that you are cute’.. 😉 that’s my nowadays mantra, followed by ‘it’s just a phase, it will pass as well’.. . Tell me, what’s your way to stay awake when broken? . Over the last week and a half my little boy decided he is an angel during the day, and well, not such an angel during the night.. apparently food/cuddle/attention is on his mind every hour at night, yay! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Robin stepped in last days in this nonsense of behavior and found out that our son likes to watch soccer (he completely relaxed in front of the Ajax game the other day).. we will keep on experimenting till this lovely phase ends or play Ajax games constantly in our living room, yay again 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 . Any tips on how to get him sleep or advice for finding the energy to go through the day, much appreciated. So far I got: - coffee (daaah) - yoga in the morning (surprise surprise) - and freezing myself at -110C with @freezlab (works same as a double espresso shot) The above keeps me awake till the afternoon. It took me alot lot longer to get through this mornings jobs today. Peggy isnt just 100% but she still tries her hardest to help and get stuck in. Her little legs was weary so Ihalf loaded the wheel Barrow and loaded her in the other half. The fresh air did her good, it always does. Being a farm mum on your own is tough, the animals still need feeding and the sheds still need mucking out. The mum guilt gets to me , especially when it's bad weather, their not well or it's another school holiday spent at the farm.... farm school isn't all that great when its your mothers farm school haha, so I try to keep them involved and part of my business. I do it all for them, so them helping out and sharing ideas is valuable to me. I've realised 3rd child in that "what's the rush", if there farming with me then I go at their pace, as long as the job gets done then that's all that matters. I'd rather spend time around the farm showing them, teaching them and listening to them. It's a faff sometime, of course it is, but I want them to learn and enjoy it. Theres lots to learn on a farm , an abundance of life skills, responsibility, empathy, routine, life, death. For my kids to me, thats what matters. Its important your children have interests, it keeps their minds active, encourages development, supports their cognitive skills, helps them focus and most of all brings them enjoyment, so if your child sparks an interest in something, go with it. Dont rush it. For a child everything is fascinating. After all my team of sprogs are my next generation, my future employees, my future farmers and hopefully if they listen to me educators .
