Last week I competed at Run for the animals. Pictured is me last year giving my arms rest. My friend @komoriblue caught me slacking but I think she knew what I was doing. Lol. This year was torture as I stated last week. As much as I love the cause for our local animal shelter, this race might be coming off my schedule. Today I concluded my 7th running season in Martinsville at Fall Foliage 5k. Given my health this year my goal was to keep as many races as possible under 1 hour. I accomplished another sub-1 hour 5k with a time of 56:53. It's been a rough year mentally physically and emotionally. All these combined I'm just happy I still get to do what I love! 1 Years of lifting 🤔 V.S 4 Years✅of lifting can’t believe how far I have done in 3 years. When I started lifting I was so lost🥴 I didn’t know anything about lifting🏋️‍♂️, nutrition🍎, anything about the gym. I started this journey to feel good about myself and truth is I don’t know where I would be without🙏🏻 the truth is you want to be good anything you have to willing to fail❌ your not a failure if you get back up.
